CREMA
The California Raw Milk Association, aka CREMA, is finally born. CREMA has been setup as a California-At-Large Chapter of the non- profit Weston A. Price Foundation in response to overwhelming consumer support for our legislative activities for raw milk in Sacramento last year.
It was Sally Fallon's suggestion that CREMA be a part of the Weston A. Price Foundation.

"SB 201 SHOULD BE PASSED BECAUSE IT":
• requires a HACCP (pronounced "Hassup") food safety plan for individual raw milk producers. This is the
very best food safety system in the world.
• requires intensive testing of human pathogens at least twice per week. AB 1735 did not require pathogen
testing.
• closes loopholes so that raw milk producers must not ever outsource production of raw milk from other
dairies that do not follow the same strict standards

Senator Dean Florez and Senator Abel Maldonado will hold joint hearings on raw milk in California.
Representing the CDFA and the FDA will be the chief of FDA dairy safety, John Sheehan, along with eight other university food safety experts.
Protecting our right to drink raw milk will be a very special Raw Milk Dream Team. These experts include Sally Fallon, Jordan Rubin, Ted Beals, MD., Cat Berge DVM PhD, and more to come in the next two weeks. Also joining us are powerful advocates like Walter Robb, president of Wholefoods.
All Raw Milk lovers should plan to attend this landmark hearing! Please bear in mind that this is an official hearing, and every participant is entitled to deliver his/her testimony in a respectful fashion.

Emergerncy Action Needed - AB 1604 is Under Attack!
The CDFA had a secret meeting this week, and apparently did more illegal manuevers to crush passage of AB 1604. R
ACTION TO TAKE
It is critical that you call all of the assembly members that sit on the appropriations committee and demand that AB 1604 pass the committee.
Here is the message;
1. AB 1604 is not supposed to be an appropriations bill!!
2. AB 1604 secures raw milk for Californians. We demand it!!
3. AB 1604 passed the Assembly Ag Committee with a unanimous vote.
4. AB1604 Ag committee hearings were attended by 700 people all demanding raw milk be protected as a matter of personal choice and medical necessity.
5. Asthma and allergies is healed by raw milk and many of the raw milk drinkers asthma will return if raw milk is not protected.
6. Other medical diseases will also return to raw milk consumers including Crohns, IBS, osteoporosis and celiac disease. Testimony was heard from doctors and scientists during the AB 1604 Assembly Ag Committee hearings about the strength of raw milk as a natural pro-biotic food.
7. AB 1604 must pass, it is a citizens right to choose foods that are not processed.
